EOS CPU

EOS CPU

EOS CPU is the Central Processing Unit required by decentralized applications to run on the EOS blockchain. CPU carries out instructions of applications or programs by performing logical, arithmetic and control operations.[1] EOS account holders can delegate or stake EOS tokens in order to use a proportional share of the CPU available to the network.[0]Computational capacity is allocated on a fractional-reserve basis due to them being transient with unused capacity unable to be saved for use in the future. CPU has an unstacking period of 3 days.[0]
