When Eliza was 17 she was approached by a store owner who wanted to sell the unique handmade bracelet she was wearing. Soonafter, she started the Snafflebit Bracelet Company with her friend Allston Pate. Her next venture was a candle business that she started with her mother called Plantation Candle Company. The candles are homemade from soy and wood wick and can be shipped anywhere in the US. In 2019 Limehouse revealed that she would soon launch an additional fine jewelry line at elizalimehouse.com.  
Shortly after graduating from college Eliza returned to the family business in Charleston, South Carolina, managing and renovating Charleston hotels for Limehouse Properties. In 2019 Eliza was cast in season 6 of "Southern Charm ", a reality show that focuses on southern culture and political history in the area. Eliza is also signed with TouT Models and makes appearances in campaigns and fashion shows. She eventually wants to own a farm where she can rescue animals and hopes one day to become a politician so that she can bring awareness to animal rights issues. 
Eliza grew up riding horses on her family plantation, Airy Hall. She is an avid Polo player and animal rights enthusiast. Limehouse is a Charleston native whose lineage goes back nine generations and her father is former South Carolina House of Representatives member, Chip Limehouse.
