Career
Prior to joining the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in February 2012, she was a freelance journalist at Seven Network Limited and a video journalist at ElectionWire.

She was selected for an Australian Broadcasting Corporation cadetship in 2013 and has won three Queensland Media Awards for her work. Worthington was also a Young Walkley finalist in the Radio category in 2014 and is now based in Sydney. In 2013 she won the Clarions 'New Journalist of the Year' award.
