In August, 2015, WWE signed Elijah as an honorary WWE Superstar. After watching Elijah's video entry for WWE Tough Enough WWE's Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon and her husband WWE's Executive Vice President of Talent Paul Levesque (Triple H) came up with the idea of sending across a Money in the Bank (2015) briefcase to Elijah [3].
Elijah was then invited to a WWE Raw live event and he signed a WWE honorary Superstar contract in the ring alongside his favorite wrestler "Stardust"Cody Rhodes. His family watched from the ringside as Elijah revealed his ring name to the world. He chose to be called "Drax Shadow" with the catchphrase "Don't fear the darkness. Fear the Shadow!"[4]
As a WWE Superstar Drax Shadow has a contract with Toy company Mattel which released Drax Shadow action figures in 2016. Drax Shadow also appears in WWE's official video game of 2016, WWE 2K16, as part of the WWE NXT roster.
