Dr Jennifer Gray Golick was an American Family therapist and clinical director at Pathway Home known for her work with adolescents and cognitive therapy.

Golick was born and raised in the state of California where she has lived for most of her life.

She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended

Calistoga junior and senior high school.

She attended UC Davis where he received his BA in Psychology.

She then attended Sonoma State University where she received her MA in counseling

psychology.

In 2016, she received her PHD in Applied psychology.

Since the early 2000s, Golick has been mental health counselor near Napa valley.

She worked as a therapist for Family Service of Napa Valley for nearly 7 years.

She then became the Director of Aftercare for Pacifica Pain Management for two years.

For two years she was the Clinical Director of Duffy's Napa Valley Rehab, and later in Petaluma she worked for Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services.

Dr. Jen Golick was one of the victims in the Veterans Home of California Yountville Shooting.

She was one of the three hostages taken by Albert Wong who was later shot dead on March 9th, 2018.

On that day, just after 10:30 a.m. local time, Wong was armed with a rifle and had burst into a farewell party at The Pathway Home.

A long stand-off took place throughout the afternoon between the police and Wong.

The other two female hostages that died in the standoff were identified as Executive Director Christine Loeber and Dr. Jennifer Gonzales.
