Doug Bradley was a City Official at Imperial Beach who was shot to death during a robbery while vacationing in Mexico. ^[0]

Bradley was born and raised in the state of California and had an upbringing in the city of Huntington Beach. ^[0]He was remembered for being a true southern Californian surfer who loved the cities he surfed and the places he lived throughout the Southern State. ^[1]

Later in life, he would live in the town of Playas de Tijuana while maintaining his job as a City Official in the city of San Diego. ^[0]

For several years he was the City Official for Imperial Beach where he was deemed a great person to work with in improving the city's financial management. He helped make the city administration more efficient and resident friendly. ^{[0] [2]}

In his job he was remembered as being a great force of transparency and resident-friendly local government.

While vacationing in the town of Zihuatanejo, Bradley found himself faced with robbers inside of a store at about 4 a.m. on Thursday, December 28th, 2017. He was chased by gunmen who would then shoot him with a 9mm handgun. According to a report by the local news, his body laid in a parking lot for four hours before the police received a report about the killing. ^{[3] [5]}
