Deron Riley is an American hero known for calling out B lack Lives Matter publicly on Facebook. ^{[7] [1] [13] [12]}

Those who don't know Mr. Riley believe that Deron lives in the city of St. Louis with his family and children. Some also believe he has lived in the state of Missouri for decades. ^[-1]

Deron joined the Marine Corps and served his country honorably.

During the emergence of the Gulf War in early August, 1990, Deron was deployed for service some time during the war.

Some time after becoming a Police officer with the city of St. Louis, he angered an unnamed person, who then went on to make an everpedia page that accused him off being a "Police office". ^[13]

He is currently a police officer for St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. ^[13] He was hired in 2001. ^[4]

Some time on the Saturday of September 16th, 2017, Deron Riley took to the Facebook of Lisa Clancy to post a meme with the headline, "The Clan with a Tan/Domestic Terrorist", with a large crowd of protesters in a street holding a banner that says, "Black Lives Mater" on it. ^[3] Officer Riley was responding to a post made Clancy regarding her experience of going out to the demonstration in downtown St. Louis. ^[0] The protests were in response to the acquittal of police officer, Jason Stockley, who killed a black man. ^[10]

After the comments were made, Lisa screenshot them.

^[12] She did some internet research and found that Deron Riley is an active police officer for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. She proceeded to tweet the department with a screenshot of the what the officer posted. ^[6] After two days, the comment was deleted by Riley. People have since massaged Clancy asking her about his removal. Others have also taken the initiative to contact the police department who has stated they are investigating the incident. ^[8]
