Delia D'Orazio

Delia D'Orazio

Delia D'Orazio (October 1931 - February 1 2017) was a former seamstress, mother of four and grandmother to Everipedia cofounder Travis Moore. She was born to Ernesto and Liberata in Salle, Italy.

Move to the United States

Delia moved in the 50s to the United States, first to New York, then eventually, to Visalia, California. Delia quickly became known in the neighborhood as " The nice Italian lady down the road." Though she missed her family in Italy, she soon had 4 children to keep her busy. She introduced to them many of the wonderful Italian traditions she had learned from her Italian culture. Delia was aware of all of her blessings in the United States.

Delia died peacefully in her sleep on February 1, 2017 after suffering from a stroke-induced coma for several months. Delia touched the lives of many. She will be missed.
