Deborah Dugan is an American Business Executive based in the New York Metropolitan Area. She is the Chief Executive Officer of (RED).
Early Life and Career
Dugan is origianlly from Greenvale, New York. After graduating from Boca Raton High School, she attended the University of Florida.
Career
With Justin Trudeau
In the 1990s, Dugan was the Executive Vice President of EMI Records.
In 1999, she became President of Disney Publishing in the Walt Disney Company. After eight years, she left to become the CEO at Entertainment Rights, a position she served until 2009. Dugan was a Senior Advisor to the Tribeca Enterprises Board of the Tribeca Film Festival. During her tenure, she sheephearded investment in a for-profit college in Chicago, Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy.
(RED) was founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver to engage businesses and consumers to help fight AIDS in Africa.
(RED) partners with the world’s most iconic brands, such as Apple, Starbucks and Converse, who contribute up to 50 perfect of profits from the sale of (RED)-branded products and services to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Dugan has been CEO since 2011.
