David Perell is a brand advisor and entrepreneur. He is the Founder of North Star and is based in New York City. ^[1]

Perell is originally from San Francisco. ^[1] He attended The Bay School of San Francisco where he was First Team All League for his school's varsity golf team. He graduated in 2012. He went on to enroll into Elon University where he attained his Bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Entertainment in 2016.

During college, Perell was the Social media Director for the National Collegiate Club Golf Association and a Social Media/Marketing/Video Assistant for the San Francisco Golf Performance Center.

He was also the Sports Director, Social Media Director, and Anchor for Elon Local News.

Perell was a Sales Support Intern for Skift as well as an Ad Sales Intern for Intent Media.

He also founded Top Performance Golf, a digitally based golf-instruction company.

Perell would later become a Customer Service Director ant Intent Media.

In January 2017, Perell founded North Star Media where he advisors founders and CEOs on how to properly communicate their vision, build audiences, and turn content into acquisition channels.

Using his prior knowledge and experience about marketing on the internet, Perell helps companies broadcast their message by creating content such as articles, podcasts and creative social messaging and advising them on proper strategies.

Perell is the host of the North Star podcast where he interviews guests about content, reaching audiences, and more.
