David Nikzad is a technology entrepreneur and investor residing in Paia, Hawaii.
He is the founder of Orthogonal, a socially conscious holding company and Reinmkr Satsang, a venture capital firm in Maui County, Hawaii.[4] [1]
Early Life
David Nikzad is a graduate of Bishop Denis J. O'Connell High School in Arlington County, Virginia.
Career
David Nikzad has been the Founder of Orthogonal, a socially conscious holding company in Maui County, Hawaii since December 2016.
The firm is best known as one of the first investors in Betterment, an investment company which was valued at $800 million in 2018 and has $13 billion in assets under management.
[4] [2]In 2014, Nikzad co-founded Reinmkr Satang, a venture capital firm with the mission of improving the world.
He later launched their cannabis investment fund, Reinmkr Cannabis, in 2015.

[8]From 2009-2011, Nikzad led the design firm, Viewspk.
In 2010, he also worked as a Food Technologist at Chevia.
From 2009-2010, Nikzad worked for Artamata, a leading mobile app developer.
[8]From 1996-2008, Nikzad was the Founder of Nikzad Design which built e-commerce websites and marketing portals for customers to purchase lumber and bamboo products online between Asia and the United States.
His clients included The Home Depot, Bellagio, and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company among other leading companies.[8]From 2006-2008, Nikzad was the Founder of Metrowize, a n online city culture, nightlife and lifestyle guide, delivered weekly in cities including San Francisco , Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York City, and Singapore.
