David Ndii

Dr. David Ndii is Managing Director of Africa Economics.

Career

Currently, David is Managing Director of Africa Economics.

He also writes a column for the Saturday Nation.

Previously, he served as a Technical advisor on Public finance to the Committee of Experts.

Prior to that, David served as NASA Strategist, Economic advisor to the President of Rwanda, Chief economist for Equity Bank, an Economist with the World Bank, and taught at the University of Nairobi.

[5]Being the Rhodes Scholar and Eisenhower fellow co-founded the Institute of Economic Affairs.

He advised the NARC administration on the Economic Recovery Strategy (ERS) credited with the post 2003 recovery of the Kenyan economy.

Ndii was also an Economic advisor to the Government of Rwanda and public finance expert to the Kenya constitutional review Committee of Experts (COE).

Education

David holds PhD. from Oxford University.

He also holds PhD. and Master's degree in Economics from the same university as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degrees from the University of Nairobi.
