David Heber
David Heber is an accomplished Professor and founding director with the Center for Human Nutrition with UCLA. For over 25 years, he has been one of the country’s leading anti-obesity and Nutrition expert. Additionally, he is the Program director and Principal investigator of the UCLA Clinical Nutrition Research Unit, Nutrition and Obesity Training Program, and Center for Dietary Supplements Research in Botanicals, all funded by the National Institutes of Health.

Holds a B.S. in chemistry, magna cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles, 1969; an M.D. from Harvard Medical School, 1973; and a Ph.D. in physiology from UCLA, 1978
Board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology and metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a certified physician nutrition specialist.
