David Friedberg is founder and CEO of The Climate Corporation, offering hardware, software, and insurance services that bring together hyper-local weather monitoring, agronomic data modeling, and high-resolution weather simulations to help farmers protect and improve their operations.

Friedberg founded the company in 2006; it was acquired by Monsanto in 2013.

He was previously with Google, where he held several roles in corporate development and product management.

Before Google, Friedberg spent several years in investment banking at Jefferies Broadview, investing in technology companies at a small private equity firm, and working as a mathematical programmer for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
