Dave Vasen is an entrepreneur based in San Francisco.
He is the founder of Brightwheel, an early childcare management platform.
Education
Vasen attended Stanford University where he was part of Phi Beta Kappa.
He graduated with distinction and hours with a BA in International Relations and Science, Technology, & Society.
Vasen would earn his MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Leadership Venture Fellow and on the Director's List graduating with Honors.
Career
Early in his career, Vasen worked for Electronic Arts, OneCast Media, Morgan Stanley, and Cisco Systems.
[1] Vasen was later a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, Strategy & Operations for Trach For America, and a Product Manager at Amazon.
It was during his time at Amazon that he worked in K-12 Education for Kindle.
In 2014, he became the founder and CEO of Brightwheel, an SaaS platform for early education backed by the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, GGV Capital, Lowercase Capital, & Mark Cuban.
