Darrell Sheets (born May 13, 1958) is an American reality TV star known for his appearance as "The Gambler" on the super-hit reality TV series ‘Storage Wars’.[2]
Early Life
He was born on May 13, 1958 in San Diego, California, USA. As a child he was very interested in hunting treasures, and he has carried that hobby-turned-passion in his adult years to pursue as a profession.[3]
Career
Darrell started his career when he ventured into the storage hunting business earns his livelihood by selling items from his purchased lockers.He
mainly sells them at weekly swap meet and through his online store.[4]
When he learnt about the A&E reality TV series ‘Storage Wars' he was very excited and decided to participate with his son Brandon.
In the show unclaimed contents from storage lockers on which rent hasn’t been paid for three months, are auctioned to prospective buyers
He is a risk taker as he calls himself "the Gambler" in the show and never shies away from taking risks while bidding due to that he has made interesting finds include four drawings by Pablo Picasso and a letter written by Abraham Lincoln.
Alongside with his son he has emerged as one of the stars of the series due to his powerful personality and experience as a storage auction veteran.
He once bought a locker for $3,600, which on opening, was discovered to contain several pieces of original artwork by Frank Gutierrez, worth for approximately $300,000!
This not only resulted in the biggest profit in the show’s history, but also brought much fame and adulation to Darrell and Brandon.

He has been married once but later divorced but he had a son named Brandon who accompany him to his bidding and also participates on the show with him too.
He met another woman named Kimber Wuerfel and they had an interesting story.
He met her while driving in separate lanes on a highway in California The couple made eye contact while looking out the windows.
Immediately, Sheets followed the woman’s car and left his phone number on her car window and that's all it took.
Though their love didn't last long as he met another person Romney Synder in which he his now engaged to.
