Darrell Mitchell is a resident of Houston, Texas.

Allegations

Mitchell was wanted in connection with the murder of his former lover.

On June 7, 2016 Mitchell gunned down his former girlfriend and the mother of his three children, Lakeisha Lewis in her Houston, Texas apartment.

Mitchell also left Lewis' current boyfriend, Johnel Francis in serious condition. Francis died from his injuries. Mitchell left the crime scene in a charcoal Dodge Avenger.

Mitchell is in custody after surrendering to Houston Police on the evening of Tuesday June 7, 2016, the same day as the shooting.
