Daniel Kwan is a film director. He, along with Daniel Scheinert ****, are part of the the Daniels. The duo is best known for their for directing music videos, including DJ Snake and Lil Jon's music video "Turn Down for What," which collected over 700 million views on YouTube. [2]
Early Life & Education
Kwan grew up in Westborough, Massachusetts. He attended Westborough High School and subsequently graduated from Emerson College in 2010. [6]

After a brief stint at DreamWorks Animation, Daniel Kwan decided to pursue his dream of directing film. He and Daniel Scheinert started their co-directing careers by co-founding the film directing company called Daniels.
The started their company by working on commercials and music videos. Their most notable work was DJ Snake and Lil Jon's music video "Turn Down for What," which generated over 700 million views on YouTube. [2]
They eventually moved to feature films.
They co-directed *Swiss Army Man * which premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and was acquired by A24. [7]
