Daniel Adekunle

Daniel Adekunle is a young entrepreneur with extensive knowledge in Blockchain Technology. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Blockstale. Adekunle is credited with designing and developing Nigeria's first bitcoin ATM. [1] [2] [3][37][38][39][40]

His achievement brought Nigeria into limelight being the first person to engineer a revolutionary innovation in Nigeria [4][5][6][7][8][9][10]. As a pioneer and expert in October Blockchain and crypto currency, he is responsible for the development of softwares, firmware and hardware components that solves real time global economic and financial problems.

Blockstale

Blockstale is a principal developer and distributor of intuitive blockchain software and hardware components in Nigeria [30][31][32][33][34][35].

Their mission is to distribute, facilitate and enhance bitcoin ATM industry in Africa, by providing seamless and creative solutions, taking the industry beyond the usual trading[12][1](buy/sell/exchange) by offering creativities and providing additional income streams to their partners.

Through Blockstale, Nigeria’s first Bitcoin ATM issue was deployed on January 12, 2020 [11][12][13][36]. Adekunle came up with an Africa-focused design to include some components that are friendly to cryptocurrency users and enthusiasts on the continent [14][15][16][17][18][19][20].

The Bitcoin ATMs were built with door alarm systems, remote trackers and some bio scanners, which makes it theft and vandal-proof.[3][8]

Adekunle stated:

“We are really excited to welcome more tech companies into the BTM space as Blockstale has made history in Nigeria and Africa at large.

We hope this great innovation structures our economy and opens more opportunities to our youths and other business owners.”

Blockchain & Bitcoin Adoption

Daniel Adekunle has an involvement in community education on Bitcoin and blockchain technology in Nigeria [25][24][29]. He also conducted webinars for foreign groups and associations, with his passion and enthusiasm for Bitcoin and blockchain technology, Adekunle is said to be Nigeria first bitcoin guru[8].
