Daniel Whang is an Investment banker and business executive. He is the Chief Investment Officer of GSG Asset Management, which provides logistics and remarketing services for material handling equipment for third-party lessors.[1]
Early Life & Education
Whang graduated from Duke University in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science.[1]
Career
Dan Whang started his career as an foreign exchange options trader at J.P. Morgan. He switched to rates trading in 2004. He continued to gain experience with trading and worked for Merrill Lynch. He then moved to Hong Kong to work for Morgan Stanley.[1]
Subsequently, Whang became Principal of an investment management firm called Sparx Group in Seoul, South Korea. He then became the founding Principal for Patrol Capital.[1]
