Dan Glaze was an American police officer of the Rusk County, Wisconsin Sheriff's office.

On October 29, 2016, when responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle south of Ladysmith, Wisconsin, Glaze was shot and killed by Doug Nitek.

After exchanging gunfire with the deputies attempting to take him into custody on October 30, 2016, Doug Nitek was arrested without further incident.
