CT Fletcher (born June 6, 1959) is an American bodybuilder, social media, and YouTube fitness celebrity with well over 950,000 subscribers.
Fletcher posts bodybuilding, weightlifting, and fitness motivation videos on the channel CT Fletcher Motivation, initially called CTTheTrainer. [1] Kai Greene was featured in his YouTube video "I Command You To Grow Part 2."
Career
Fletcher worked as a gas station attendant, pumping gas when he was twelve years old.
In 1977, when Fletcher was 18, he joined the U.S. Army; he was stationed in Germany. Upon returning the U.S. from Army duty, he worked for the United States Postal Service.
Fletcher is a competitive powerlifter who has won 3 world "drug-free" bench press titles and 3 World Strict Curl titles. Fletcher overcame hypertension at age 42 and almost lost his life in 2005 due to heart conditions. He required emergency cardiac surgery in 2005.
Personal Life
CT Fletcher was born to Walter and Ogie Rea Fletcher in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. At the time, his father was a field worker and a veteran of the Korean War and my mother was a teenage housewife; his father eventually became a preacher. He was raised with an older brother named Walt.
About a year after he was born, his family moved to Watts, California. After a while, they moved to Compton where CT Fletcher would spend the rest of his early childhood. When CT was in middle school, his family moved to Lakewood.
Fletcher married his high school sweetheart with whom he has children, but their marriage ended in the 1990s in divorce.
He later married a woman he met while working at the postal service and they have seven children together.
Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee are his two idols. While he was in the army during the 1970's, he became interested in martial arts. In 1979, he earned a second-degree black belt in Karate.
