On April 22, 2016 Bryce Monson shot his Courtney in front of her children, then killed himself in a violent apparent murder-suicide in their Ramsey, Minnesota home.

Courtney sought refuge in a basement room with three of her four children.

Bryce found his wife and shot her multiple times before shooting himself, authorities said.
