Costello van Steenis (born 26 July, 1992) is a Dutch Mixed Martial Artist who trained in Spain and goes by the Ringname"The Spaniard".

Steenis currently competes in the MMA promotion Bellator MMA in the middleweight division.

Personal life

Steenis has stated that he started training in MMA simply to learn to defend himself and wanted to join the Dutch army because he "couldn't think of anything else to do".

After his coach encouraged him to continue pursuing MMA, Steenis eventually ended up representing Netherlands in MMA.
