Cooper Turley is the Editor of DeFi Rate, a leading DeFi (Decentralized Finance) news publication. He is also a contributor to The Defiant, DeFi Pulse, and Bankless, and manager of various cryptocurrencies, including $JAMM, $ALEX, and $COIN.[1][2]
Background
Cooper Turley attended the University of Colorado Boulder and later graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting and music business. While interning at ThisSongIsSick, he started get interested in blockchain technology and later took a research & data analytics position at Colorado Blockchain.[3]

From Colorado Blockchain, Turley co-founded Xeno records in August 2018 and started working as managing director at Fitzner Blockchain Consulting in November of the same year. Almost exactly a year later, in November of 2019, he became an Editor at DeFi Rate and a Scout at MetaCartel DAO, where he continues to work.[3]

He also works with early-stage teams within the Fire Eyes DAO on grassroots community development and creating governance models.
Additionally, he is an ambassador for Set Protocol, and publishes to Token Tuesdays on a weekly basis.[1]
I'm hopeful that we can find sort find ways that token distributions can benefit the early adopters, and hopefully that can be not just capital intensive to the point where someone who's providing value added work, either on the curation, or on the security side of things, can sort of capture outside that they wouldn't be able to otherwise.[4]
Turley has also become heavily involved within the yield farming craze that is dominating the DeFi space. He has extensively covered and participated in many yield farming events, and is a strong believer in the future of the space.[7]
Turley works at decentralized music streaming service Audius, where he leads strategy and Cryptocurrency at the company.[8][2]
