Conor Powell is an American journalist based in Washington, D.C. He is a former foreign correspondent at Fox News. [1]
Education
Powell graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor's degree in international studies and received an master's degree in social and political science from University of Cambridge.
Career
Powell joined FOX News Channel in 2009 and served as a Jerusalem-based foreign correspondent.
Prior to joining FNC, Powell was a reporter for WJLA-TV, where he covered Congress and the 2008 Presidential election. He began his career at KNDO-TV, and reported on a wide range of stories such as immigration, and local and state elections, including the 2006 Senate race between business executive Mike McGavick and Sen. Maria Cantwell.
Resignation from Fox News
"After nearly 9 years I have decided to resign from Fox News.
Those of you who have spoken to me in recent months, you will understand why I am leaving Fox News Channel,” Powell stated in the post.
