Colleen McCain Nelson is a journalist for The Wall Street Journal. [1]

Education & Career

Ms. Nelson spent 2012 on the campaign trail, covering Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum and traveling to an assortment of swing states to write about the race for the White House.

Before joining the Journal in 2012, Ms. Nelson worked at The Dallas Morning News. There, she wrote about local, state and national Politics as a reporter and, later, as an editorial writer and a political Columnist.

In 2010, Ms. Nelson and two colleagues shared the Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Writing. Ms. Nelson is a Phi Beta Kappa of the University of Kansas, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism.
