Code:Pandorum, (born Sven Selka) is a German DJ, Music producer & Sound Engineer. He is known for pioneering the sound of “Deathstep”. He also owns his own record label and creative collective known as Crowsnest Audio founded in 2016.^[2]

Code:Pandorum has been producing since he was 14.

He went under the alias Static: originally just doing hardcore music than into dubstep music.

Later on he would switch to Code:Pandorum.

After watching a movie "Pandorum" he wanted to change his name to that but there were three bands with that name so his friend just said to slap "Code" before it.

Thus Code:Pandorum being a thing^[1]

Code: Pandorum doesn't like calling his music Deathstep since he believes it's too melodic & has too many instruments on it.

He does acknowledge that his drops are Deathstep.

Along side of it he influenced & popularized the genre sub-genre Deathstep.

His particular style of music comes with an eerie feeling.^[21]

Early in 2015, he played his first show ever, it was in Paris with Spag Heddy & EH!DE. Since then, he has played at several shows in Amsterdam (at 50Hurtz) and he has also made a visit to Montreal.

Asides being a DJ, he is also an entrepreneur.

He sells bathroom accessories, like toilets, zincs, tiles etc. But it’s not really the job he want to do, it’s just to save some money to make music and help him get to where he wants to be financially.^[20]
