Christina Lomasney

Christina Lomasney is currently the CEO, president and co-founder of Modumetal.

She holds a BS in Physics from the University of Washington, where she has completed studies towards a MS in Applied Physics.

Christina completed her undergraduate research in the Schwartz Electrochemistry Group, investigating the use of electrokinetic systems for soil and groundwater remediation.Christina

has worked in industrial research and development of various materials technologies for over 10 years. She

co-founded both Modumetal and Isotron Corporation to deal in the design of advanced polymer and nanolaminate alloy materials and processes for commercial, defense and remediation applications respectively. Christina

has a passion for working with outstanding individuals and teams to deal with two daunting problems that our world faces, namely the implications of industry on the environment and the potential impact of terrorism on the security of our people and environment.Christina's passion

for the environment and personal protection lead to the co-founding of Isotron in 2001, which today develops advanced environmental remediation technologies and Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) defense technologies that protect our nation and warfighters. Christina lead

Isotron from a startup to profitability with nearly $2M in contract revenues over a 4-year span. The Isotron

team is currently based in Seattle, Washington and is actively involved in research, development and commercialization of various environmental remediation, decontamination and defense materials technologies. The same passions

lead Christina to co-found Modumetal in late-2006. Together with her

team, she is realizing the vision of developing ultra-lightweight add-on and integral armor systems to protect our warfighters from ballistic and IED threats. Ultimately, the team

believes that Modumetal will revolutionize just-in-time manufacturing of structural materials for aerospace and automotive applications which will enable the design of safe, ultra-lightweight and fuel efficient transportation vehicles.Christina has authored articles

and is named inventor on pending patents in the field of large-scale environmental remediation and advanced materials. She has presented papers

throughout the world on remediation and reactive materials technologies. Christina formerly served as

Chairman of the ASTM Subcommittee on Decontamination and Homeland Security Response, where she remains an active member. She is a member

of the American Society for Test and Materials, the National Defense Industry Association and American Association for the Advancement of Science.Christina enjoys flying helicopters and

acrobatic waterskiing. She is currently cultivating a

pinot noir vineyard and hopes, in a few years, to produce something worth drinking. [0]
