Chris Chappell is a News presenter and Chinese affairs expert based in New York City. He is most known for being the host of China Uncensored show which covers topics about China and the Chinese Communist Party. Chappell also hosts America Uncovered show and China Unscripted podcast.^[1]

Chappell is originally from Los Angeles, California and graduated from the Chaminade College Preparatory School. He attended California Lutheran University where he earned a BA in Music Theory and Composition in 2007 and attained his MA in Music Theory and Composition from New York University in 2011.^[1]

Chappell launched the China Uncensored YouTube channel in 2012 which is produced by New Tang Dynasty Television. Taking a satirical approach backed by solid research, China Uncensored reports on China-related news and Chinese Communist Party behavior and activities.^[1] As of February 2019, China Uncensored had over 725k subscribers on YouTube. In addition, Chappell hosts the China Unscripted podcasts which supplements China Uncensored.^[1] In 2016, Chappell started America Uncovered which takes an objective look at issues facing America and breaks down relevant news items. As of February 2019, America Uncovered had amassed 84k subscribers on YouTube.
