Chloe Kohanski is an American Musician known for being a contestant in the 13th season of the American Television Reality series, The Voice.
Biography
Early Life
Born and raised in the state of Tennesseee, she was raised in the town of Lebanon, a town east of Nashville. At the age of 5 years old her musical prowess started when she began to sing. She was raised on contemporary Christian music. She also grew up playing Blue Grass.
Later in life she would discover her Blues influences in rock bands such as Led Zeppelin- and in other musicians such as: Robert Plant, Anne Wilson and Susan Tedeschi.
Education

After high school, she planned to study to become an English teacher until she decided to drop out of school to pursue a career in music.
Cumberland Blue
In 2012, Chloe started a band called Cumberland Blue, along with the following members: Duncan King (Drums), Yates McKendree (Keys), Grant Smith (Blues Fiddle) Hank Compton (Guitar), and Rocky Block (Bass).
As a collective, they described their music as Psych Folk.
The band played Jazz festivals throughout Nashville.
The Voice

For the 13th season of NBC's The Voice, Chloe auditioned and became a participant
as part of Miley Cyrus' team. On October 9th, 2017, the first show of the season was aired which included Chloe's performance of "The Chain" by Fleetwood Mac.
Miley:
"I come from a background of serious musicians.
I had to do really good on my own, there's no other path for me.
I was either going to be a vet and take care of animals or I was going to be a musician.
And now I have seven animals and I've learned you've got to do both."
As the song unfolded, Chloe's talent emerged with every note.
Miley Cyrus, Blake Shelton and Jennifer Hudson hit their buttons.
