Cheryl Yeoh Sew Hoy is an entrepreneur of Malaysian origin. She lives in San Francisco.

Hoy is a graduate of Cornell University, Class of 2006, where she majored in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering. She also obtained a Masters in Engineering Management in 2008.

At Cornell, Hoy was a member of the Taekwondo team.

Hoy was Founder and CEO of Reclip.it a coupon discovery and social sharing app featuring weekly ads and digital coupons from top retail stores in many countries.

The Reclip.it team was Acqui-hire ed by Walmart's "Walmart Labs" division in 2013 and the website shut down.

She was also Chief Marketing Officer of Hack Reactor, a coding bootcamp.

Hoy is married to Jason Sew Hoy, a man hailing originally from New Zealand. ^[1] The couple are known for attending Burning Man.

In July 2017, Hoy wrote a viral blog post about sexual assault at the hands of her investor, Dave McClure, founder of 500 Startups. Dave had recently resigned after other women had also accused him of harassment.
