Chase Maddox was an American police officer of the locust grove police department in Locust Grove, Georgia.

Maddox joined the department in 2013, after serving time in the National Guard.

He was married with one child and another expected.

On Friday, February 9, 2018, Officer Maddox was killed in line of duty, and two Henry County sheriff’s deputies were wounded when they tried to serve an arrest arrest warrant at a home on St. Francis Court.

The suspect was shot and killed by police on the scene.
