Early Life
Chanel Rion was born in the state of Texas and grew up in Missouri, Florida, and overseas in France and South Korea. Her upbringing required keeping her homeschooling. [4]

Rion attended Harvard University from 2010 to 2015. [4]
Career
In March 2020, during a press conference with U.S.
President Trump, Rion asked him whether it was "racist" to use the term "Chinese food" and continued: [18]
"major left-wing news media — even in this room — have teamed up with Chinese Communist Party narratives and they’re claiming you’re racist for making these claims about 'Chinese virus.' Is it alarming that major media players, just to oppose you, are consistently siding with foreign state propaganda, Islamic radicals and Latin gangs and cartels?
And they work right here at the White House with direct access to you and your team?"
