Chandra Janway (born Jul 16, 1978) is a former American model who gained a lot of popularity after her marriage with NASCAR Champion, Jimmie Johnson.^[1]

She was born on 16 July 1978, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to her parents Jack and Lynn Janway. She has two siblings Marianne and Caleb Janway. Though her other brother Jordan Janway died in a skydiving accident in March 2014. He was a skydiver instructor.^[1]

As Oklahoma-native, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2000.

She started her career after her graduation as she moved to New York City and joined Wilhelmina one of the most successful agencies in the industry in order to pursue a career in modeling.^[3]

After her marriage she ran the Jimmie Johnson Foundation.

The foundation was established to help children, families, and communities in need throughout the entire United States.

She got married to Jimmie in 2004 and they held their wedding in St. Bart an island in the Caribbean. The couples met each other in 2002 when Jeff Gordon introduced them, they got engaged a year later when they went on a snowboarding in Colorado.

When he proposed to her on the top of a hill, she thought he was joking when he took a photographer along to capture the moment.

In 2010 the duo welcomed their first daughter Genevieve and in 2013 they welcome their second daughter Lynda.
