Carson Metcalf (Age 43 years old) is a meteorologist reporter working at Spectrum News. ^[3]

Carson Metcalf lives in Central New York. He is a native of Fulton. Carson graduated from SUNY Oswego with a bachelor’s degree in meteorology and a minor in mathematics. During his time there, he provided forecasts for WTOP, the student-run television station, and WNYO radio.^[2]

Carson was interested in weather by the time he was 3 years old.

Over the years, he became known as “The Weatherman” in school, and was often asked what to expect by both students and teachers alike – especially his snow day predictions!.^[1]

Since joining Spectrum News, he has provided forecasts for all of our stations in upstate New York as well as New York City and West Los Angeles.
