Carlos Deangelo Bell is a resident in the town of Waldorf who was an instructional

aide at Benjamin Stoddert Middle School known for sexually abusing his students.

He was born and raised in the city of Indian Head in the state of Maryland. He attended Henry E. Lackey High School. ^[1]

He is a person who is HIV Positive and tests confirmed that he carries the sexually transmitted virus. ^[2]

Carlos worked for Benjamin Stoddert Middle School as an aide.

He was also a Track and field coach at La Plata High School. He has since been fired from his job for the sexual abuse scandal related to some of his students. ^[0]

He had also worked at J. P. Ryon Elementary School in Waldorf and had been a track coach at Maurice J. McDonough High School in Pomfret.

He has not worked for Charles County Public Schools since Dec. 22, 2016.

On Friday, June 30th, 2017, Carlos was indicted by a grand jury on three counts of production of child pornography and two counts of second-degree assault.

Authorities stated that Bell recorded the abuse of the middle school students in a classroom, at his home and at other locations between February and March 2016.

Thus far, Law Enforcement is not aware of any victim contracting the disease.

There also could be more victims to come.

He was identified by a parent after they noticed explicit text messages inside of their child's phone.

Child pornography was also found on Bell's personal devices.

He received a sentence of 105 years in prison for his possession of child pornography and other violations of the law.
