Early Life and Education
Gringas was raised in Wallingford, Connecticut and attended Lyman Hall High School. She went on to graduate from Yale University where she was a guard on the Women's Basketball Team. She graduated with a degree in American studies with a concentration in Sociology.
Career
Gringas worked as a reporter for WNBC New York from 2010-2016. She began working for CNN in March of 2016 and has covered the Pulse Orlando Shooting, the 2016 presidential election, the aftermath of several international terrorist attacks and the severe flooding in West Virginia. Over the course of her career, Brynn has earned her an Edward R. Murrow award, a National Emmy and three regional Emmys.
