Facebook Live Shooting

On March 31, 2016 a video of Fields went viral on social media. [1] In the video, Fields is seen standing outside a corner store at 56th Street and Hoyne Avenue in the West Englewood neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. He was live streaming from Facebook when someone walked up, fired shots, jumped into a vehicle and sped away. [1]

As Fields is being shot, the gunman is briefly shown in the video.

Fields was shot in the face and groin.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center where he is in critical condition.

The suspect was never identified.

On October 28, 2016, Fields was shot was shot to death while sitting inside a white two-door vehicle in the 1900 block of West Garfield Boulevard in Chicago, Illinois after 10 p.m. [undefined]
