Early Life and Education

Brie was born and raised in Carlsbad, California and attended Carlsbad High School. [23] Her parents are names are Kevin Thiele and Lynn O’Connor and she has one younger brother, Brent. [24] After Secondary school, she became a student at California State University, Long Beach where she was a member of Alpha Phi. [24] She graduated in 2008 with a degree in journalism and political science. [23]

Brie began her career as an Associate Producer at KSWB-TV, a FOX-affiliated Network in the San Diego area where she wrote script s for anchors, produced on the street interviews, and pitched stories at editorial meeting s. [23] In 2010, she moved to the Eugene, Oregon area where she was a news anchor/reporter for the CBS-affiliated network, KCBY-TV. [24] There, she was a team player producing newscasts and anchoring live cut-ins, and shot video on Panasonic P2HD cameras. [23] Brie became skilled in software Program s such as Sienna Storycut, Final Cut Pro, Edius, Electronic News Production System, Bitcentral, Precis, Excel, Word, Adobe Photoshop. [23]

From 2012-2013, Brie was the host of the Emmy Award winning show Undercover Boss. [24] She hosted seven shows that included the CEO s of Moe's Southwest Grill and Cinnabon. [23]

After two years at FOX Sports, she shifted her career towards news and politics as a News Anchor at One America News Network, and anchored three hour-long news programs five days a week. [23] During her tenure, Brie provided commentary on President Obama's 2014 and 2015 State of the Union addresses, along with the 2014 congressional elections. [23] She also provided in-depth reports on Michael Brown’s shooting; the Annexation of Crimea; ISIS; Boko Haram in Nigeria; the Ebola virus in Sierra Leone; the Affordable Health Care for America Act; and the government shutdown of 2013. In addition to hard news, she anchored weather segments. [23]

In 2015, Brie returned to FOX Sports in San Diego for a position specifically crafted for her abilities.
