Brian Watson's hometown is Orlando, Florida. [20] [23]He studied at Phillips Academy, a highly selective, co-educational preparatory high school in Andover, Massachusetts, United States, 25 miles north of Boston. He attended the school from 2006 to 2008. After graduation, Brian enrolled at Columbia University in the City of New York. Having studied there 4 years, he received his Bachelor's degree in Engineering Management Systems in 2012,

That same night, Brian went to an art gallery showing where he ran into the CEO once again—it turned out VSCO was sponsoring the event. Soon afterward, Brian found a role within the company.
