Brea Hymond

Brea Hymond

Brea Hymond is 15 year old from Fort Worth, Texas who was harassed by a FWPD Police officer along with her mother,

On Thursday, December 21st, 2016, Brea's mother was having an altercation with the police officer who apparently harassed her 7 year-old brother. According to the report, her brother littered, and was later on choked by another man in the vicinity. The cop arrived and began harassing her brother.

Her mother was told about the situation and confronted the cop about the matter.

Her mother, known as Jackie, said to the cop: “My daughter and son came home, saying that this man grabbed him and choked him... I came around here and asked him. I said, ‘Why did you put your hands on my son?’ He said, ‘Oh, he threw some paper and I told him to pick it up.’ He said he defied him and that’s why he did it…you don’t have the right to choke somebody’s son. My son is 7-years-old, you don’t have the right to grab him and choke him.”

The cop then responded: “Why don’t you teach your son not to litter?” Jackie then said: “He can’t prove to me that he did or didn’t, but it doesn’t matter...

That doesn’t give him the right to put his hands on him.”

To which the officer responded, “Why not?” Eventually, Jackie expressed to the cop that she was: "Pissed off".

When Brea attempted to get her mother to quiet down and settle by walking up to her and backing her away, the cop immediately unleashed on Brea and pushed her off of Jackie.

He then proceeded to take down Jackie and make the arrest.

Once he finished with Jackie, he walked over to Brea and arrested her, all the while terrorizing the neighborhood through his violent antagonizing of Brea and Jackie.
