Brad Parscale
Brad Parscale (born January 3, 1976) is website developer and web marketing strategist who was digital media director for Donald Trump's successful 2016 U.S.presidential campaign. He had also worked for the Trump family on various earlier projects. During the 2016 campaign Parscale used targeted social media campaigns while evaluating results and refining the campaigns. After the election, he credited the social media campaigns for Trump's election victory.
Early Life & Education
Parscale was born in Topeka, Kansas. Dwight Parscale, an assistant attorney general and ran congressional candidate, is his father and his mother is a small business owner. Dwight owned a restaurant and became the CEO of NewTek, a video production hardware and visual imaging software company.
Parscale went to Shawnee Heights High School in Tecumseh, Kansas and then moved to Texas to attend college at University of Texas, San Antonio where he played basketball until hurting his back. His father decided to move NewTek to San Antonio while visiting. He also studied at Trinity University in San Antonio where he received a degree in finance, international business and economics in 1999.
Trump Campaign
Parscale was an early members Trump's 2016 campaign team, joining the campaign before it was even officially announced to the public.
Parscale set up the Trump campaign's $250 million online fundraising effort and bought Facebook ads for the campaign.
Parscale worked with Trump’s son-in-law and current senior adviser Jared Kushner to strategize Trump's digital focused campaign.
Parscale did CGI work in California for 5 years before moving back to Texas and founding San Antonio based web design and marketing firm Giles-Parscale in 2011 with Jill Giles.
