Billy McNicol is an American Musician, a Drummer-Vocalist, lyricist, and songwriter.

Billy McNicol grew up touring with his 3 uncles and father's band: The McNicol Bros (which previously founded with and performed together as "The Rugbys").

The Rugbys were the first rock group from the Derby City area (Louisville) to place on Billboard's Hot 100 Charts with their #24 hit "You, I" in the Summer of '69.

Billy's father, Robert McNicol would sing and play drums which built a lasting impression on the young Billy McNicol.

Since this skill is complicated to teach, Billy would watch his father's performances and absorb.

At five years old, Billy's parents discovered him playing the drums and singing simultaneously to his father's songs and record collection.

Billy continued playing music in high school; forming his own bands with other musicians and his cousin, guitarist Jeff McNicol (son of Billy's uncle Steve McNicol).

Later, Billy received a scholarship to play on the drumline for the University of Louisville and became the school's "Featured Drummer" for the Cardinals Men's and Women's Basketball team events.

Billy was featured performing many times during the 2004-2005 NCAA seasons on ESPN and sports broadcasts.

He was also performing on the college bar circuit with the rock groups "QuarterBounce" and "Band of End".

Billy currently performs nationally & resides in the Los Angeles, California.
