Beth Reinhard covers national politics at the Wall Street Journal.
She previously worked at National Journal, where she was the lead political correspondent during the 2012 presidential campaign.
Beth spent most of her career covering local, state and national politics at her hometown newspaper, The Miami Herald.
In addition to leading the paper’s 2008 presidential campaign coverage, she chased hanging chads and a few hurricanes.
Beth got her start in journalism covering schools and local government at The Home News in New Brunswick, N.J. before moving to Florida for posts on the business and metro desks of The Palm Beach Post.
Beth received her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Journalism.
She and her husband and two daughters live in Falls Church, Va.
