Bear Woznick is a champion tandem surfer, mystic Christian, and podcast host based in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
Education
Bear was born September 21, 1953 in Powers Lake, North Dakota and grew up in Santa Cruz, California. [1] He moved around a lot and attended multiple high schools including Watsonville High School, Aptos High School, and Richfield High School. He went on to study theology at Franciscan University and later Tax law at the Baylor University Washington School of Law.
Tandem Surfing
Bear is credited for reviving the ancient art of Tandem Surfing.

Activities
Bear has traveled all-around the world in search of adventure.
He has twice run with the bulls in Pamplona and once on the bloodiest day in its history. Bear is a licensed pilot as well as skydives. He is a rare ninja blackbelt and scuba dives. Bear regularly participates in aquarium activities including waterman; sailing, spear fishing, distance paddling and surfing his outrigger canoe.
Fearless, Bear paddled his surfboard out to the dangerous waves of Teahopu’u in Tahiti on a huge forty-foot day that came to be known as Bloody Sunday; the bloodiest day in the history of surfing and his surfed epic waves at Waimea Bay. Bear paddled his surfboard across twenty-eight miles of treacherous open-ocean between Moloka’i and O’ahu. He has peddled his bicycle across the USA from San Diego on the Pacific to Jacksonville on the Atlantic.
Professionally, Bear ran his own CPA firm and is a business and life coach.

Bear is the author of Deep In The Wave, an intimate portrayal of the relationship between surfing and the soul, in which he shares his deep knowledge of the sport on every page along with his spiritual vision. He lectures around the world about his experiences and hosts the weekly podcast, The Bear Woznick Adventure.
Personal Life
Bear has four children: Fawn, Jeremiah, Shane, and Joshua.
