Baylee Gatlin was a 20-year-old from Ventura, California. ^[8]

Baylee grew up in Ventura and attended Foothill Technology High School where she graduated in 2015. ^[8]A hard worker, she was employed as a server at Aloha Steakhouse for over 5 years and was planning to transfer to Cal Poly from Ventura College. ^[10]Baylee was not afraid to go out of her comfort zone and loved to travel, which she intended to do more of in the future. ^[8]

In 2016, she attended Lightning in a Bottle for the first time which she considered a life-changing experience; Baylee submitted artwork to be displayed at this year's event. ^[10]She is remembered for her goal-oriented nature, beautiful smile, and vibrant personality. ^[8]

During Memorial Day Weekend, Baylee attended the Lightning in a Bottle music festival along Lake San Antonio. On Sunday morning, Baylee was taken to Twin Cities Community Hospital where she later died at 3:24 am. Her cause of death is unknown. ^[10]
