Bao Bao Wan is a jewelry designer and Chinese Socialite.
Early Life and Education
Wan grew up in a traditional and prestigious Chinese family; Her grandfather, Wan Li, was the former Chairman of the People's National Congress. She grew up in the confines of the Zhongnanhai compound in Beijing. Wan is an only child. She finished up high school at the Masters School. At the age of 15, she enrolled in the Sarah Lawrence College where she studied Photography and French Literature. In 2006, she earned her Gemology degree at the Gemological Institute of in Hong Kong.
Career and Personal Life
On November 27, 2007, she launched her self-titled jewelry line, Bao Bao Wan Fine wide acclaim wide-acclaim.
In 2009 she was approached by Forever Mark to collaborate with other jewelry designers.
Along with her contemporaries Allen Chan, Limi Yamamoto and Theo Fennel, Wan produced Precious Collection, which was shown internationally in Hong Kong, Beijing and Tokyo.
In addition, that year Bao bao designed the ‘Dragon d’Eau’ consisting of a necklace, bracelet, and earrings for DIVENUS series.
They premiered at the Shining Moments Jewelry Show, a joint venture organized by Chow Tai Fook and Centre Cultural de Chine a Paris.
She has been featured in many international magazines such as Time Magazine, Vogue and W and her designs are worn by several celebrities.
Wan is a prominent socialite.
When she was doing a photography apprenticeship in Paris, France, she was one of the first socialites of Chinese nationality. She has been seen associated with Victoria Beckham and Adrian Brody. She is invited to many high-profile parties and brushes shoulders with the world's elite.
In 2016, she listed her luxury Penthouse in Sydney, Australia on the market for $13 million dollars after reportedly spending only two nights there.
