Bakari Henderson (1994 - July 7, 2017) was an American college graduate of the University of Arizona. [1]
Life and Activities
Henderson attended Anderson High School (Texas) through his junior year and graduated from Hyde Park Baptist High School in 2013.
Bakari then attended the Eller College of Management at The University of Arizona on a full academic scholarship and graduated on May 12, 2017 with a BS in Business finance and Entrepreneurship.
The summer after his freshman year at University of Arizona, he interned with the Speaker of the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas State Senate.
Death
On July 7, 2017, Henderson died after he was beat to death by 10 people while he was on vacation on a Greek island of Zakynthos. The attackers used brass knuckles during the attack.
An altercation with a security guard started with Henderson inside a bar in Lagana. Henderson was accompanied with his Phi Gamma Delta fraternity brothers when the incident occurred.
HE was taken to a hospital with severe head injuries.
He was pronounced dead on arrival.
Bakari was in Greece working on a photo shoot to launch his new clothing line at the time of his death.
