Axton Salim
Axton Salim is director of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, a leading Indonesian food company with operations spanning from the production of raw materials and their processing to consumer products in the market.
He has held a broad range of leadership roles in Indofood and its subsidiaries, where he started as marketing manager of the snack food division.
In his current role, Salim oversees the manufacture and marketing of a diverse range of consumer products as director of Indofood's consumer branded products business group.
He also heads the company's dairy division.
Indofood is the first local Indonesian company to join Project Laser Beam, a public-private partnership that aims to improve child nutrition.
Salim is a director at Indofood Agri Resources Ltd.
as well as co-chair of Scaling Up Nutrition Business Network's advisory board.
He served as a council member for the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition from May 2012 to May 2014.
Salim holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Colorado.
